Our history with IT and Enterprise Resources
Planning (ERP) systems reaches back to the late 1970's when ERP systems
were in their infancy, and companies were running on IBM Sys/36 and 370
operating systems. We
supplied one of the major software houses with order entry, inventory
planning, and inventory control specifications for its first
manufacturing software modules.
Later, we worked with a sister company that provided specialized
machine tools using Computer Integrated
Manufacturing (CIM) as its key design and production strategy. These
techniques were taken to clients for applying both ERP and CIM to the
workplace. As a result we had early, hands-on experience
with ERP and CIM applications, and develop successful implementation
processes, techniques and methods, such as SDLC.
Since then Rockford Consulting Group has supported companies who wish
to achieve world class performance and become market leaders with IT
strategies. IT is a crucial part of every company's infrastructure.
Today, we facilitate clients with assessing current processes and
